Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Rangy ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.
2. License Grant
Upon purchase, Pouya Eti grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Rangy on up to two (2) devices for personal or commercial use, subject to these terms.
3. Subscription and Lifetime Plans
- Subscription Plans (Core/Pro): Provide access to the Software for the duration of your subscription period (monthly or yearly). You may cancel at any time, but access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- Lifetime Plans (Core/Pro): Provide perpetual access to the Software with all updates included.
4. Third-Party Services (Replicate API)
Rangy requires connection to your own Replicate account for AI processing. By using Rangy, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for creating and maintaining your own Replicate account at replicate.com
- Each image generation, upscale, or AI processing task is charged separately by Replicate directly to your Replicate account
- Costs vary by AI model and image size (e.g., Seedream 4.5 costs approximately $0.04 per image)
- Pouya Eti is not responsible for charges incurred through your Replicate account
- You must comply with Replicate's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
- Replicate's availability, pricing, and terms are outside our control
5. Restrictions
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, lease, or sublicense the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
- Share your license key or API credentials with others
6. Intellectual Property
Rangy and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by Pouya Eti. This license does not grant you any ownership rights to the Software.
7. Content Generated
You retain ownership of images you create using Rangy. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and the terms of the underlying AI models.
8. No Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds are available for any purchases, including subscriptions and lifetime licenses. Please review all features and requirements before purchasing.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all systems.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pouya Eti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to charges incurred through third-party services like Replicate.
11. Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pouya Eti operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Rangy ("we," "our," or "the Software"), developed by Pouya Eti, collects, uses, and protects your information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Email address (for license activation and support)
- Name (optional, for support purposes)
- Purchase transaction details (processed by Kajabi)
2.2 License Information
- License key
- Device identifiers for activation (limited to 2 devices per license)
2.3 Analytics and Usage Data
To improve the Software and user experience, we collect anonymous analytics data including:
- Generation Statistics: Number of image generations, upscales, and other AI operations performed
- Success/Error Rates: Whether operations completed successfully or encountered errors, including error types
- Feature Usage: Which AI models, features, and settings are used most frequently
- Performance Metrics: Processing times and performance data to optimize the Software
- App Version: The version of Rangy you are using
- Platform Information: Operating system type (macOS/Windows) and version
Important: Analytics data is collected anonymously and does not include your actual images, prompts, personally identifiable information, your Replicate API key, or the content you create. This data helps us identify bugs, improve stability, prioritize new features, and enhance overall user experience.
2.4 Application Data (Stored Locally Only)
The following data is stored locally on your device and is NOT transmitted to us:
- Your Replicate API key (stored securely in local application storage)
- Prompt history and favorites
- Application preferences and settings
- Images you process (remain on your device)
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT collect or store the images you generate or process
- We do NOT have access to your Replicate API key
- We do NOT collect your prompts or creative content
- We do NOT collect personal images, photos, or artwork
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Activate and validate your software license
- Provide customer support
- Improve the Software based on usage patterns and error reports
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
- Prioritize feature development based on usage data
- Send important updates about the Software (security updates, major releases)
- Communicate about your subscription status
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Replicate
When you use Rangy, your images and prompts are sent directly from your device to Replicate's servers using your own API key. This communication is between you and Replicate. Please review Replicate's Privacy Policy at replicate.com/privacy for information about how they handle your data.
5.2 Kajabi (Payment Processing)
Purchases are processed through Kajabi. We do not store your payment card details. Please review Kajabi's Privacy Policy for information about payment data handling.
5.3 Analytics Services
We may use third-party analytics services to process anonymous usage data. These services are bound by their own privacy policies and do not receive personally identifiable information.
5.4 License Activation
We use a license activation service to verify your purchase and manage device activations.
6. Data Storage and Security
- Account and license information is stored securely on our servers
- Analytics data is stored in aggregate, anonymous form
- Local application data (API keys, settings, history) is stored only on your device
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information

- For lifetime licenses, information is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion

- Analytics data is retained in aggregate form for product improvement purposes
10. Children's Privacy
Rangy is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. International Users
If you are accessing Rangy from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred across international borders.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Software.
No Refund Policy
1. All Sales Are Final
All purchases of Rangy, including monthly subscriptions, yearly subscriptions, and lifetime licenses, are final. No refunds are available under any circumstances.
2. Why We Have This Policy
Rangy is a digital software product that provides immediate access upon purchase. Due to the nature of digital products:
- Access is granted instantly upon payment
- The product cannot be "returned" like a physical item
- You have full access to the features immediately after purchase
3. Before You Purchase
We strongly encourage you to:

- Read all feature descriptions on our website
- Understand the difference between Core and Pro plans
- Review the AI models included in each plan
3.2 Understand the Replicate Requirement
Rangy requires your own Replicate account for AI processing. Each image generation/upscale incurs separate charges through Replicate (e.g., Seedream 4.5 costs ~$0.04 per image). You are responsible for all charges on your Replicate account. Replicate offers free credits for new accounts to test the service.
3.3 Check System Requirements
- Rangy is a standalone desktop application for macOS and Windows
- Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements
- The app also integrates with Affinity Photo 2 (optional)
3.4 Understand Subscription vs. Lifetime
- Subscriptions: Recurring payments; cancel anytime but no refund for remaining period
- Lifetime: One-time payment; perpetual access with all future updates
4. Subscription Cancellation
For subscription plans (monthly or yearly):
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation stops future billing only
- You retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds or prorated refunds are provided for the remaining period
- No refunds are provided for any billing cycles already charged
5. Exceptions
We do not make exceptions to this policy. This includes but is not limited to:
- Dissatisfaction with the Software
- Inability to use the Software on your system
- Changes to Replicate's pricing or availability
- Accidental purchases
- Unused subscription time
- Failure to cancel before renewal
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute:
- Your license will be immediately revoked
- You may be banned from future purchases
- We reserve the right to pursue legal action for fraudulent chargebacks
7. Technical Issues
If you experience technical issues with the Software:
- Contact us for support before assuming the product doesn't work
- We are committed to helping resolve technical problems
- Technical support does not constitute grounds for a refund
8. Acknowledgment
By purchasing Rangy, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this No Refund Policy and agree that all sales are final.
